Once the first of the raised beds went in and the potatoes were under way, work started on the herb patch, which doubled as the first seasons tomato plot. Lots of weeding later and we almost look like we know what we're doing.
With a little bit of digging and hammering we get our first raised beds in place (and they're almost lined up straight...) and start on our campaign to grow 10 tons of potatoes.
After taking the shed down from Sam's previous allotment and (somehow) managing to put it up again, Sam finally stands proudly outside our little blue shed, with a handbag thats so heavy it requires a wheelbarrow to move.
A little over a year ago we first started out on our allotment in North Sheen, with little experience on our side and more than a little mess to contend with before we could even begin to thing about growing anything.
